Malaysian e-Purse Scheme
MEPSCASH is the brand name for Malaysian e-Purse Scheme and is available in your chip-based MyKad issued by the Government and ATM cards from participating financial institutions.

As one of the seven Flagship applications under the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) initiative, MEPSCASH was initiated in 1999 by participating financial institutions under the purview of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and is regulated by the Payment Systems Act 2003.

Just look for the or logo on your ATM card or MyKad and you can store electronic cash (e-Cash) in the card to make payments.
